Sword Play

So my son wanted a blue sword and I made him one. One with a blue hilt and a grey blade. Mistake. A blue sword has to be all blue apparently! So I made another one and this time he was really interested and watched the whole process and helped with the stuffing. We had a great time stuffing that thing. And of course, two swords is far better than one for all swashbuckling, ninja or pirate endeavours.

I am really pleased that my two donations to the sale for Haïti have been sold. Hurrah. So pleased that I could help. There are still things to buy. It's all happening over here.

  1. Adults will never understand children I have decided. Your first one made sense to me too. But then again two swords must be better than one. ;)

Congrats on your donations selling so quickly.

  2. Hi Alicia! I know! Kids are amazing and full of surprises (as I don't think we'll ever tire of saying). Yes I was so pleased that my donations sold (and sold quickly) there was no point otherwise and I like the idea of the buyer and seller being an impromptu team - one couldn't do without the other. Right I am taking the kids to a classical concert in a temple in Paris followed by cookies ata friend's house. Better go make some cookies to add to the pile! Hope you have a good relaxing Sunday!
